Team recruitment campaign for a new Shared Services Centre
Having already successfully placed the Director of UK Shared Services at Muller, Seymour John was invited to run the campaign to recruit the Credit Control Team for the company’s new Shared Services Centre being set up in Telford.
The company required 17 Credit Controllers and turned to Seymour John as a trusted recruitment partner. The immediate challenge was attracting a high volume of good quality candidates in a relatively remote geographical area, where similar businesses and teams were few.
Using our leading AI search technologies in conjunction with our own local candidate database and LinkedIn networks, plus direct advertising across relevant job boards, we set about sourcing the best candidates in a challenging market.
Having identified a longlist of suitable candidates, each was vetted to whittle down to a shortlist. At this point, we became a seamless extension of Muller’s internal Recruitment Team, working alongside them to devise and run several Assessment Centres, selecting the best candidates to go on to interview for each vacant position.
All 17 Credit Controllers and a Credit Control Business Partner were placed successfully. We continue to support the Credit Control Team as and when new Shared Services Centre projects require resourcing. Ongoing, we remain the ‘go to’ recruiter for Muller’s Order to Cash function and, as a trusted business partner, we continue to support the recruitment of all Finance roles across the Muller business.
