Search for a Finance Business Partner

Our client provides solution support to some of the UK and Europe’s most prestigious events and festivals. As the business was expanding, they were looking for a Finance Business Partner to provide support and guidance for the next step in their development journey.

The Challenge

The client had been advertising the position themselves, as well as working with another consultancy, without success, when we were asked to support the search.

The Solution

The best Finance Business Partners are commercially astute, combining expertise in data analytics with great communication skills. How well the successful candidate would interpret and disseminate financial information to the rest of the business would be key to developing their growth strategy. With this in mind, we tapped into our combined networks, conducted our own advertising, and ran proactive searches across our talent-platform sources.

The results

We are all about quality not quantity; the one rather than the many. Whilst our search didn’t uncover a plethora of candidates, we did find the one. Since placing the Finance Business Partner successfully, we have filled three further roles – which are all working out well – and continue to work in partnership with the client.
